Captain Heerajee Cursetjee's Indian Medical Service dress tunic, 1914 (c)
Cursetjee was a Medical Officer with the 14th King George's Own Ferozepore Sikhs. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order for 'conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty at Mushaq and Sharquat' in Mesopotamia in 1918. During World War One (1914-1918) he also served in Egypt and Gallipoli.
