Cross belt from the dress uniform of Captain Heerajee Cursetjee, Indian Medical Service, 1912 (c)
Cursetjee was awarded the Distinguished Service Order for 'conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty at Mushaq and Sharquat' in Mesopotamia in 1918. During World War One (1914-1918) he also served in Egypt and Gallipoli, where he was Medical Officer of the 14th King George's Own Ferozepore Sikhs.
