Corporal's full dress coatee, 2nd Bombay (European) Light Infantry, 1850 (c)
Raised in 1788 as the 2nd Bombay Light Infantry, this regiment was disbanded in 1796, only to be revived in 1824, disbanded again in 1829 and revived in 1839. In 1858 it transferred from East India Company service to Crown control, becoming the 106th Regiment of Foot four years later.
