Statuette of an officer of the Royal Irish Regiment, 1911
Silver figurine by Walker and Hall, hallmarked 1910-1911, on a black plinth with the date, '1911', in silver, and a silver plaque with presentation inscription.
The statuette was presented to the officers of 2nd battalion by Lieutenant Colonel R O Kellett and Captain Philip Urban Vigors in 1911.
From the Mess Plate of the 18th (Royal Irish) Regiment of Foot. The Regiment was disbanded in 1922 with the creation of the Irish Free State.
