A view of the Great Pyramid, or Pyramid of Khufu, at Giza. The Sphinx, largely buried in the desert sand, can be seen in the right of the photograph.
The photograph may have been taken as the 101st Regiment of Foot (Royal Bengal Fusiliers) travelled from India to England in 1868.
