Southern Rhodesia War Service Medal 1939-45

About 1,700 of these medals were awarded to members of the Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) armed forces who served at home during the Second World War. Anyone that qualified for the British War Medal 1939-45 or one or more of the campaign stars was not entitled to receive this medal as it was restricted to those who did not serve overseas.
