Offizier Gefangenenlager (Officer Prison Camp), Burg bei Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, 1915 (c).

Captain (later Lieutenant Colonel) Michael Charles Cooper Harrison (1888-1967), 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment, mounted an unsuccessful escape attempt from this camp in 1915. This was one of a series of escapees mounted by Harrison during his time as a prisoner of war in Germany, which he describes in his co-authored memoir 'Within Four Walls'.
