Regimental cane, 3rd West India Regiment, 1870 (c)

This polished malacca cane is tipped with a white metal head inscribed with the regiment's name and crown and garter in relief. It would have been used by the West Indian non-commissioned officers of the Regiment as an emblem of duty and authority.
