Soldiers of the 10th Jats dressed in regimental mufti, Miranshah, North West Frontier, 1916
The 10th Jats were among the soldiers stationed on India's North West Frontier during World War One to protect the border with Afghanistan and maintain security in the tribal areas. Miranshah, in North Waziristan, is very close to the Afghan border.
