Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk I bolt action .303 inch rifle, 1942

This was the standard British Army rifle of World War Two (1939-1945) and essentially a simplified Short Magazine Lee Enfield modified for mass production. This example is fitted with a spike bayonet, nicknamed a 'pigsticker' by soldiers.
