'After the Insurrection - Burning ruins in Upper Sackville Street', 1916

Postcard by Hely's Limited, Ireland (1916-1922), 1916.

During the Easter Rising (1916) many buildings on Sackville Street (now O'Connell Street) were damaged in the fighting. Several were subjected to shell fire from a British gun boat moored at nearby Eden Quay.
