Other ranks' glengarry badge, 55th (Westmorland) Regiment, 1874-1881

Originally raised in 1755, the 55th (Westmorland) Regiment's nickname was 'the Two Fives' after their numeral. Their badge depicts the 'China' dragon. This was added after Lieutenant Butler captured an Imperial Dragon standard at Chusan in 1841.
