Other ranks' glengarry badge, 107th Regiment of Foot (Bengal Infantry), 1874-1881
Until the Indian Mutiny (1857-1859) this regiment (formed in 1854) had been on the East India Company Bengal Establishment as the 3rd Bengal (European) Light Infantry. It became the 107th on the British Establishment in 1862. In 1881 it was amalgamated with the 35th Foot to form The Royal Sussex Regiment.
