Hoof of 'Jock', 1836 (c)
'Jock' was a troopers' horse of the 2nd Life Guards and was present at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. His unit was part of the Household Cavalry Brigade under the command of Major General Lord Edward Somerset. 'Jock' survived the battle and lived another 20 years before dying in 1836. He was buried in Hyde Park on 29 June of that year.
