Flintlock musket, 1801 (c)
This smoothbore musket was apparently owned by a Turk who participated in General Sir Ralph Abercromby's campaign in Egypt in 1801. The stock is of Turkish shape and inlaid with mother of pearl while the butt piece is made of bone or ivory. The lock is possibly of European manufacture.
