Other ranks' cap badge, 4th (Queen's Own) Hussars, 1900 (c)

Originally raised in 1685, the 4th Hussars' were granted the prefix 'Queen's Own' in 1788 in honour of George III's wife Queen Charlotte. The regiment's motto was 'Mente et Manu', which means 'With Mind and Hand'.
