Japanese Taisho 14 self-loading pistol, 8 mm (known as the Nambu) 1930 (c)

The Type 14 pistol, designed by Kijiro Nambu in 1925, became a standard Japanese service pistol and was used throughout World War Two (1939-1945). Well over 300,000 weapons were manufactured. Some improvements were made, including enlarging the trigger guard, but production quality declined during the War.
