Captain Burnaby, Grenadier Guards and Nubian Servant, 1855

Captain Edwyn Sherard Burnaby (1830-1883) served in the Crimea with the 1st (or Grenadier) Regiment of Foot Guards. He was a Conservative Member of Parliament from 1880 until his death three years later. At the time of his death he held the rank of major-general.
