Six sepoys, 30th Regiment (Bombay) Native Infantry (3rd Belooch Battalion), in marching order, 1890 (c)

Watercolour and pencil sketch by Major Alfred Crowdy Lovett, 1900 (c).

The sepoys are armed with the Martini-Henry .450 in rifle. The bayonet is the converted Pattern 1860 originally for the Enfield Short Rifle.
