'"Raggie" The Warhorse, An Autobiography', 1931
Ragtime or Raggie was Major Guy Willoughby's (later Lord Middleton) Arab horse, ridden in the Middle East and India during World War One (1914-1918).
Written in 1931, the 'autobiography' covers Raggie's life, from his birth in 1910 through foalhood in India; distinguished service in Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq) during the First World War; the Arab revolt of 1920; polo and hunting; later life in India to his final retirement in Yorkshire, England.
