British and Sikh officers of the 2nd Battalion (Ludhiana Sikhs), 11th Sikh Regiment, 1936 (c)

The 2nd Battalion, 11th Sikh Regiment, was formed in 1922 after the redesignation of the 15th Ludhiana Sikhs. In 1947 the entire Sikh Regiment was allocated to the Indian Army at independence and partition.
