Canadian infantrymen of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry defending the Frezenberg Ridge at the 2nd Battle of Ypres in 1915. The two figures are wearing greatcoats; one carries an ammunition box on his shoulder while the other fires from an entrenched position. Both figures are included in Wollen's finished oil painting of the battle.
