James Lonergan, South Irish Horse, 1914 (c)

The South Irish Horse was a Territorial Yeomanry regiment raised in January 1902. In 1914 they went to France with the British Expeditionary Force (BEF), forming a composite regiment with the North Irish Horse and acting as General Head Quarters (GHQ) troops.
