Silver, made by Henry Potter and Company, London, 1933.
Single loop tube brazed in three pieces with separate curve sections and joining collars, two tube braces at mouthpiece end; brass mouthpiece and reinforced bell edge with relief decoration; single baluster knop at base of bell flare, upper surface impressed with regimental name and maker's name.
Trumpets like this were used to sound fanfares at events like royal weddings. They were longer than normal trumpets to accommodate a ceremonial banner.
