Etching by and after W H Pyne, published by Pyne and Nattes, London, number 4 of a series of five plates, 1803.
Six vignettes of British soldiers during the Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815), showing camp life. The main image shows soldiers at a field kitchen with female camp followers. The other vignettes include mounted kettle drummers and trumpeters, cavalrymen and an artillery team.
