Journal and opinions of Edward Nevil Macready, 30th (Cambridgeshire) Regiment of Foot, 1814-1815
This journal includes an account of the expedition to Holland and Belgium in 1814. Macready served with the 2nd Battalion of his regiment during the Hundred Days campaign. At one point during the Battle of Waterloo (1815) his regiment formed square and faced 11 French cavalry charges. They had earlier fought at Quatre Bras (1815).
