Letter from Colonel J Gurwood, to the Royal United Services Council, 19 December 1839

In this letter, Gurwood informs the Council that he has not had the opportunity to pass on their request to the Duke of Wellington that he give permission for the disinterment of the skeleton of his horse 'Copenhagen', which carried him at Waterloo in 1815.
