Other ranks' cap badge, The Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment), 1900 (c)

The badge of this regiment consists of a Maltese Cross with a stag surrounded by oak leaves in the centre. The stag represents Sherwood Forest and is flanked by the title 'Sherwood Foresters'. There is a crown above the cross and a title ribbon with 'Derbyshire' inscribed on it below.
