Other ranks cap badge, The King's Regiment (Liverpool), 1927 (c)
The badge of this regiment depicts the White Horse of Hanover in a prancing attitude. Its rear legs stand on a straight scroll below which is a title scroll inscribed 'King's'. This commemorates King George I's renaming of the regiment after himself and his granting of the Hanoverian household badge following the regiment's loyal service during the First Jacobite Rebellion (1715).
