Officer's cap badge, The Green Howards (Alexandra Princess of Wales's Own Yorkshire Regiment), 1904 (c)

This cap badge was designed by Queen Alexandra when she was Princess of Wales. It includes the 'Dannebrog' (Cross of Denmark) and her personal 'A' cypher. These are surmounted by her princess's coronet. The date 1875 commemorates when she was first associated with the Green Howards.
