Battle of Fuentes D'Onoro, 5 May 1811

Aquatint by T Sutherland after W Heath, published by J Jenkins, 1 Sept 1815. From 'Napoleonic Wars: The Martial Achievements of Great Britain and Her Allies from 1799 to 1815'.

Fuentes d'Onoro (3-6 May 1811) saw an Anglo-Portuguese army under the command of Viscount Wellington check Marshal Andre Massena's attempt to relive the besieged town of Almeida.
