Other ranks cap badge, The Parachute Regiment, 1973 (c)

This badge consists of a pair of wings outspread horizontally, in the centre of which is an opened parachute surmounted by the Royal Crest (a lion and crown). The wings symbolise the regiment's airborne operational role.
