Russian .704 inch percussion rifle, 1843
This rifle was captured by the 88th Regiment of Foot (Connaught Rangers) from a Russian Rifle Regiment in the Crimean War (1854-1856). It is an exact copy of the Brunswick Rifle of Belgian manufacture.
