A Life Guardsman falls from his horse as his regiment advances. The quote is from Shakespeare's 'Titus Andronicus, Act 2 Scene 1, and is spoken by Aaron.

Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Seccombe served with the Royal Artillery.
