An M3 medium General Lee tank named 'Shrewsbury' of the 25th Dragoons, at Kohima in June 1944.

Photograph, World War Two, Far East, 1944.

This Lee has been modified by the removal of the tank commander's cupola, in common with the majority of Lees used in the Far East theatre.

From a collection of official photographs collected by Major General (later Lieutenant General) Sir Frank Walter Messervy.
