'The New Costume of the British Light Dragoons'

During the Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815) the British Army had light dragoons, used for scouting and reconnaissance duties, and dragoon guards, who fulfilled a heavy cavalry role by delivering shock action on the battlefield.
