Photograph by Major Wilfred Herbert James Sale, MC, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), 1938 (c).
The members of the leading crew are Sergeant Best, Private Sale and Corporal Bertie. The Rolls Royce car entered service in 1915 and several updated variants were introduced throughout the 1920s. They were used by 3rd County of London Yeomanry for training purposes. By the end of 1941 they were withdrawn as modern armoured car designs became available.
From an album of 328 photographs compiled by Major W H J Sale, MC, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters).
