Most British regiments had rowing teams. Here the rowing eight of 3rd County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters) are depicted setting off for a race on the River Thames during the 1938 Henley Regatta. 3rd County beat the Honourable Artillery Company's eight by three feet.
