'Quad and 25-pounder', Lynton, Devon, 1940 (c)

The Morris Commercial C8 Field Artillery Tractor, often known as the 'Quad', was used throughout the war to tow the Royal Artillery's 17, 18 and 25-pounder guns. Over 28,000 of these vehicles were built.

From an album containing 328 photographs compiled by Major Wilfred Herbert James Sale, MC, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), 1938-1940.
