A crewmen of a White scout car fires a Browning 0.5 inch calibre heavy machine-gun next to regimental fitters who are practising with machine-guns on tripods.
To keep the all vehicles and equipment in good working order, each squadron within an armoured regiment would have a fitters section. These men were supplied by the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME).
