'The Church. Mozza', Mozzagrogna', Italy, 1943

The battle damaged interior of a church in Mozzagrogna, Italy, 1943. Mozzagrogna in Abruzzo was captured from the Germans in November 1943 after a bitter fight. The town changed hands three times during the battle.
