This group of officers of the 3rd County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters) were presented with a number of gallantry awards, following active service in the Italian Campaign. Most would subsequently travel with the regiment to Normandy, where they landed on 7 June 1944.

The officers are named as Lieutenant Dunn MC, Captain Sale MC, Lieutenant Hawkins MC MM, Major Grant MC, Captain Whorlow MC,Lieutenant-Colonel Cameron DSO MC, Captain Aitken MC, Major Gale MC, Major Woods MC and Lieutenant Henningham MC.
