Photograph by Major W H J, MC, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), World War Two, North West Europe (1944-1945), 1944.

The Panther's excellent combination of firepower, mobility, and armoured protection made it a formidable foe. This example was knocked out by tanks of 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters) of 4th Armoured Brigade.
