Members of 'C' Squadron, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry, sit on the hull of their Sherman Firefly tank. Fitted with a powerful 17 pounder anti-tank gun as its main weapon, the Firefly was one of the few Allied tanks capable of taking on the German Panzer V (Panther) and Panzer VI (Tiger) tanks at normal combat ranges.
