Tanks of 'C' Squadron passing through Nijmegen, 1944 (c)

Three Sherman tanks of 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry drive along a road amongst the ruined buildings of the Dutch city. Njimegen was liberated by the First Canadian Army in November 1944. The city had also witnessed heavy fighting during Operation Market Garden two months prior to their arrival.
