A Crusader tank, probably 'Ailsa II' (T43709), a Crusader Mark 6 tank, of 'A' Squadron, 3rd County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), with its crew, sheltering from the sun under a canvas awning, with a display of their stocks of food and drink.
The tank crew includes Jimmy Sale, with the other two crew identified as 'Peter', probably Peter Maxwell, and 'Arthur', possibly Arthur Aldred.
