Rifle cleaning kit, 1950 (c)

Various versions of this type of kit would have been used to clean the British Army's standard infantry weapon the No. 4 Rifle from the 1940s until its replacement in the late 1950s. The tin's contents include a pull-through, oil bottle, brush and gauze.
