Kora sword and scabbard, 1938 (c)
The Kora was a type of sword from Nepal used for both fighting and sacrificial purposes. This example was presented to the 2nd Battalion 2nd King Edward's Own Gurkhas Rifles (The Simoor Rifles), by Hon Lieutenant Dan Sing Lama, IOM, in 1938.
