Medal commemorating the Duke of Wellington's entry into Paris, (7 July 1815), 1820
Bronze medal from the 'Series of Medals of British Victories', a set of 40 medals commissioned and struck in 1820 under the direction of James Mudie, to commemorate victory over France.
On the obverse is a portrait bust of the Duke of Wellington. On the reverse is a scene titled, 'The English Army Enters Paris', with the colonnade of the Louvre spanning the diameter of the medal.
