Flintlock pistol for United East India Company Marine Service, by Wilson, 1778
East India Company arms normally followed the pattern and calibre of those ordered by the Board of Ordnance, but they were often modified for service in India. This Sea Service pistol is similar to Ordnance issue but has a larger calibre (.65 inch) than the normal .56 inch of Sea Service pistols issued by the Board.
